Most Joshua Tree visitors from L.A. discount the fact that in the open desert, windows can’t be left open like in L.A. Too many critters roam the ground that are better observed from a distance.
This is why we have the giant 300 sqft Sky Room with a 16’ collapsible door opening to a 200 sqft patio to truly the enjoy indoor outdoor desert lifestyle. The room is painted in a soothing light Gray tone with a truly minimalist approach, beautifully framing the open desert.
For movie night and presentations an 85" SAMSUNG "The Frame" TV screen is ready fur use in the living room. When not in use it displays beautiful art to not distract from the mood of the house.
Almost 2,000 books were used to construct the doghouse library. Rumor has it that there is a secret door located in this wall. Can you spot it in this picture?
The Library is also a great place for whisky tastings or an intimate place to break away for late night discussions.
The full size pool table, located in the game room, is kept level and is frequently re-felted.
The 5.5' Yamaha Concert Grand Piano is kept in tune and is available for rent for a small extra fee.
The Doghouse has its own record collection and vintage stereo system. Re-discover some old favorites with those soothing cracks and pops.
The Desert Doghouse comes with a petit vintage bar next to the kitchen, complete with a vintage cocktail glass selection, sure to enchant guests with a taste for vintage texture.
Enjoy open-desert views while soaking in the tub. The in-room tub is located in the Master Bedroom.
The house was designed to sleep a nice group size. Why wouldn't we make sure the house seats the entire party. The dining table seats 14. Additional seating is available on the kitchen counter (5) and a small side table (4).
